A.P.I.T.I.F. is the professional tourist guide association of Ibiza and Formentera. We are the official tourist guides for these islands, having been examined and certified by the first college for official tourist guídes of the Balearic Islands seated in Palma de Mallorca. A.P.I.T.I.F. was founded in 1991 as an independent association of autonomous professional guides.
Our service mainly consists of accompanying tourist parties in cooperation with tour operators and travel agencies. We also work on request by public and official institutions, thus supporting the Organism for Tourism Promotion of Ibiza and Formentera. We carry out services for schools, contributing to the preservation of the cultural heritage of the island. Furthermore we are at the disposal of local or foreign journalists and television teams. In this respect we offer localizing and interpreter services. Finally we also carry out special services for companies and private persons.
